  12. QUICK NOTE:

  14.    The 3D Glasses should have the RED lens over your LEFT eye.

  17. INSTALLATION:
  18.  
  19. You do not need to install this program on your hard drive to run   
  20. it--it runs directly from the CD-ROM.                       
  21.                                                                      
  22. You can get up and running fast by simply changing to your CD-ROM drive, 
  23. changing to this directory (\PROGRAM), and running the 3DDREAM program.  For 
  24. example, if your CD-ROM is installed on your D: drive, you would use the 
  25. following commands:                     
  26.                                                                      
  27.     D:                                                               
  28.     CD \PROGRAM                                                          
  29.     3DDREAM                                            
  30.                                                                      
  31. Be sure to press ENTER or RETURN after each line, use spaces
  32. only where shown, and to use the correct "\" key. 
  33.  
  34. That's it! -- Enjoy!

  36. However, if you want to install it on your hard disk, you can run
  37. the INSTALL batch file.  Do this by running the INSTALL batch file 
  38. in the root directory of the CD and using the CD drive name as the
  39. first argument and the drive you want to install to as the second
  40. argument.  For instance, if your CD-ROM drive is D: and you want to
  41. install to your C: drive, you would type:
  42.  
  43.    D:\INSTALL D: C:
  44.  
  45. and press RETURN or ENTER.  From then on, following this example,
  46. you would run the program by going to your C: drive, changing to the
  47. 3DDREAM directory, and typing 3DDREAM and pressing RETURN or ENTER.

  49. Installing to your hard drive may speed up the program slightly.

  53. USING THE PROGRAM:
  54.  
  55. This program is easy to use. You are first presented with the title 
  56. screen which will disappear after several seconds, or you may press 
  57. the Escape (ESC) key to shorten the delay.  
  58.  
  59. Next you are presented with the main screen which consists of 11 series.
  60. You may press Escape (ESC) to quit the program at this point, or
  61. you may move the red selection rectangle (using the arrow keys) to 
  62. the series you want to see and press the ENTER or RETURN key.
  63.  
  64. Upon selecting a series, you will be shown the first thumbnail screen for
  65. the series selected.  Additional thumbnails can be viewed by pressing 
  66. the Page Up (PgUp) or Page Down (PgDn) keys.  On the right side of the
  67. screen will be displayed information about the selected series (including 
  68. name, height, measurements, hair color, and eye color) except for the last
  69. series which is not for a specific girl.  From this point, you may press 
  70. Escape (ESC) to return to the main screen, press the F1 key to view a slide 
  71. show of all of the images for the current series, press F2 to view a slide 
  72. show of all of the images for the current series in 3-D format, or you may 
  73. select a single picture to view by moving the red selection rectangle to 
  74. the desired picture and pressing RETURN or ENTER.

  76. If you chose one of the slide shows, you will be shown each picture of 
  77. the set, one after the other, with a pause between each picture.  You may 
  78. press the space bar during this slide show to skip from a picture to the
  79. next without waiting for the delay, and you may abort the slide show at
  80. any time by pressing the Escape (ESC) key.  Once each picture of the set 
  81. has been shown, you will be returned to the thumbnail screen for the series.

  83. If you chose to display a single image (by moving the rectangle and 
  84. ENTER or RETURN), then the picture you choose will be displayed full-size.
  85. After the image is displayed, the following key commands are available:
  86.  
  87.       [F3]           Toggle between the normal and 3-D views of the current
  88.                      image. 
  89.  
  90.       + or =         Zoom-in (magnify view).  The equals (=) key is allowed
  91.                      so that you don't have to press shift to zoom in.
  92.  
  93.       - or _         Zoom-out (shrink view).  The underscore (_) key is 
  94.                      allowed so that it will work even if you have the shift
  95.                      key pressed.

  97.       [Up Arrow]     Move (pan) up the image (same scale).
  98.  
  99.       [Down Arrow]   Move (pan) down the image (same scale).
  100.  
  101.       [Left Arrow]   Move (pan) left on the image (same scale).
  102.                      
  103.       [Right Arrow]  Move (pan) right on the image (same scale).
  104.  
  105.       [SPACEBAR]     Go back to a full-screen view of the image.  This is 
  106.                      the view which the image is first displayed in.  
  107.                    
  108.       [ESC]          Stop viewing the image and return to the thumbnail
  109.                      screen.

  111. Note: To perform the scrolling and panning operations, the program will
  112. try to use a buffer in conventional RAM.  If there is not enough free
  113. conventional RAM, then the image will be reloaded from the CD after 
  114. a zoom or pan key is pressed.  This will result in a slower response
  115. time.  To improve your speed, be sure to have as much free RAM as 
  116. possible before starting this program.

  120. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
  121.  
  122. To use this program with DOS, you should have a VGA or Super VGA
  123. compatible video card which can display 8-bit color (256 colors).
  124. This program relies on VESA Video BIOS Extension (VBE) Version 1.0 (or 
  125. better) support from your video card.  Most cards have this capability 
  126. built in and some provide it through a TSR which you must install.

  128. If you experience color display problems, Please contact your video board
  129. manufacturer to see if newer TSR software is available.
